HOW IT WORKS

A charter yacht is usually all or nothing. This one isn't.

You take the cabins you need. We match you to a yacht and crew from our trusted charter operators and look after you from your first question until you're home.

1
STEP ONE

SEND YOUR REQUEST

Your month and who's coming. Two minutes, nothing to pay. A request doesn't commit you to anything.

2
STEP TWO

WE GET IN TOUCH

A real person, not a booking engine. We talk it through, match your party to the right yacht, and send your options and price.

3
STEP THREE

CONFIRM AND GET READY

Everything sorted before you fly. Once you're happy, you confirm your cabin. We send the airport, transfers, packing list and what each day looks like.

But what if I don't know anyone?

Most guests board not knowing a soul, and leave planning next year's trip together. This is the part of the week nobody expects and everybody talks about afterwards.

⛵

A group, not a crowd

You'll know everyone on board by the second evening. Personal, relaxed and nothing like a cruise.

👥

Bring your own, or don't

Bring friends and family along, or come on your own and we'll match you with travellers who picked the same week.

🛏️

Your cabin is yours

A private cabin with a door that closes. Sociable on deck when you want it, quiet below when you've had enough.

A NEW STANDARD FOR CHARTER TRAVEL

The old way, and the way we do it.

✕

The old way

  • Gather and organise an entire group before you can book the yacht.
  • One person contractually responsible for the whole yacht, then chasing everyone else for money.
  • Pay for every cabin whether you fill them or not.
  • Months of difficult research and planning on your own.
  • Email an agent and wait until Monday.
✓

The Sail Per Cabin way

  • Request one cabin. We match you with travellers sailing the same week.
  • Every cabin has its own contract. Nobody is liable for anyone else.
  • Pay only for your cabin. $7,500 per cabin, for seven nights, crewed and catered.
  • Guides for the islands, the week itself, the flights and the packing, sent to you before you fly.
  • Real people, seven days a week once you're booked.
HOW FAR WE ACTUALLY GO

Support that doesn't stop at the booking.

BEFORE YOU SAIL

Difficult planning made simple.

Full support before you pay anything, so you know exactly what you're booking. Guides covering what a week aboard really looks like, sent long before you fly, so nothing is left to guess at.

DURING YOUR TRIP

Show up with confidence.

Seven days a week support from real people who know your yacht, your crew and your week. If something you asked for isn't on board, tell us and we'll put it right. You shouldn't have to settle for less than you booked.

ONCE YOU'RE HOME

We've got your back.

Left something on board? We'll post it back to you ourselves. Anything that wasn't right, we want to hear about it, and we'll follow it up properly, not leave you chasing an inbox.

5

groups per week

We take on a limited number of groups each week to keep a high standard of personal service.

MY STORY

From crewed charter chef to British Virgin Islands captain.

I came to the BVI to chef on sailing charters, and then naturally became the captain a few years later. Witnessing people experience the best week of their lives became my normal, and I felt compelled to bring this opportunity to more people.

During my years of running these trips, I learned that the essence of this experience was that very little planning is needed. You turn up, put your feet up, and the week is organised around you. I spoke with many people who wanted in, but couldn't get a group to fill the entire yacht.

So I built Sail Per Cabin. You book one cabin instead of the whole yacht, bring friends and family or come on your own, and get real support and travel guides covering everything, so you're never left wondering what, why or how.

That is the goal: all of the adventure, none of the admin.
